Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Abby has a new loving home

Abby was rescued from the Beaumont shelter just before she was put to sleep. She is a 3-4 year old spayed, liver and white female with all her shots, and is heartworm negative. Abby is calm and quiet, okay with other dogs and children, leash broke, and is being crate trained and house broken.

Abby is very affectionate. Likes to play and run and tends to point at occasional flying birds -- but gun-shy, wants no part of loud noises. Her foster home indicates she runs beside a bike for exercise, and is starting to get verbal cues. Also, she is just about able to operate an automatic doggy door by herself.

If you are interested in Abby, please fill out an adoption application and our adoption coordinator will contact you.
