Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Quail has a new home

Quail was in a shelter in Ohio, and is now with a foster home in North Carolina. She is spayed, has all her shots, is heartworm negative, and is housebroken and crate trained. Quail is liver and white, female, and about 7 years old. She is about 40 pounds of lean muscle. Quail gets along with other dogs, but isn't too sure about other animals. She gets along well with children. Quail barks at people but is okay once she is told they are okay. She is completely housebroken and does not chew up the house, but enjoys rawhides and bones. Quail is terrified of thunderstorms, but is okay if someone is with her. She generally stays off the furniture, except during the storm. Quail loves walks, loves to sniff out and find critters, and is very energetic. She is always happy and is very attentive towards sounds. Quail also travels well in the back seat of the car, but she does jump fences. She currently does well with a fence and an invisible fence inside it keeping her from jumping over the physical fence. If you are interested in Quail, please fill out an application, and our adoption coordinator will be in touch in a few days.
