Kira's looking for a new home
Kira is a beautiful, strong, healthy gal who came to me in a very scared, shaky and obviously abused state. For the past 2-1/2 years we have worked together for her to gain confidence and trust in people, especially men. I suspect she was in the field in her earlier years and abused by a man or men. Kira still displays signs of fear on occassion. She is wonderful in the house, does not care for furniture, does not counter surf and is housebroken. When in the house she stays in one of two beds, depending on her desire for quiet time, and she loves to cuddle on the floor in front of the television. Kira has become a wonderful watch dog, growling or barking when someone approaches the door or her fence, but other times is very quiet. Kira also has the strong desire to be free and will run for hours if given the opportunity. She continually digs under the fence and escapes at home and at doggie day care, however she seems content in a neighbors 1/2 acre fenced year with other dogs. Kira loves to play ball and gets along well with other dogs and children.
