Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Faith has a new home

Faith is a liver and white female, about 4- or 5-years-old, currently being fostered in Pennsylvania. Faith was found with Moe, who is with her in the same foster home. They were found caged behind a flea market in Alabama. Faith and Moe had been abandoned by their owner, who fled the authorities. It was believed that the dogs had not been fed in at least a month and Faith and Moe were barley alive. A third dog found with them had not been so lucky. They were taken to a local shelter and then placed in foster care with Pointer Rescue.org, where they are recovering nicely.

Faith is now current on all her vaccinations and is soon expected to be back to her normal weight. She has been initially distrustful of people, but warms up quickly after initial contact. Her foster home describes Faith as very affectionate and quite a lap dog. She shows some hunting instinct, but her past training and treatment are unknown.

Faith deserves a chance at a real home. If you think you have that special home, contact Carrie Sablone for more information or go back to the PRO main page and fill out an adoption form (include in your comments your interest in Faith).
