Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Wynona Has her new Home

Wynona is a lemon and white female, about one-year-old. She was abandoned and turned over to a Humane Society in Indiana and PRO was able to place her in a foster home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Wynona is spayed, housebroken, current on her vaccinations and in good health. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. She is about 45 lb. and 21 in. tall. Wynona is a digger and a climber, so she will need secure fencing (invisible, electric, etc.) and close supervision while outside.

The foster home says the following about Wynona: "She is just so cute! She LOVES playing ball. If allowed she will carry her ball with her every where, and will chase it until she drops! She is really good about sleeping in her crate next to my bed, but I don't fasten the door. Some times in the middle of the night she wants to come up and sleep with us, so she pushes her crate door open and veeerrry gently puts her paw on me to ask for permission to climb in the bed. She curls up and goes to sleep right away! Also I have left her out in the house several times when I have been gone for a short time and she has been a perfect angel! No accidents, no chewing or anything!"

If you are interested in giving Wynona a loving home, fill out a PRO Adoption Form on this website. You will then be contacted by the PRO Adoption Coordinator.
