Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

One Cute Pup has a New Home!

Daisy Mae is a young black and white female pointer pup, under one-year-old. She is currently being fostered in Bay St. Louis, MS. She and her brother Billy Bob were rescued from a junkyard where they were tied up with no shelter after they out-grew a tiny wire enclosure and bx that was their home for a month.

The foster home says they are good with adults, children and other dogs. They are both described as sweet and attentive. They do not appear to have been affected by the neglect they suffered. They are said to be in good health and practically housetrained already. The foster home is beginning to work on some basic obedience. Daisy Mae is described as energetic, robust, intelligent and eager to please.

If you think you have the right home for Daisy Mae, email Nancy at hnminer@bellsouth.net for more information.
