Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Oliver has been Waiting for Someone to Come

Oliver is a liver and white male, between 1- and 2-years-old. He is currently in a private foster home in Seneca, Missouri. Oliver never gave up on people! Oliver was found at a construction sight near a highway. He had been sitting there for two days, looking like he was waiting for someone to come back for him. When the foster owner stopped the car near him, he ran to the car, excited to finally be found! The foster owner just couldn't leave him there, so he was taken to the local shelter. However, a week later, Oliver's time was up, so, to save him from being put down at the shelter, he went into foster care. All attempts to locate a former owner yielded nothing, and so Oliver is now looking for a new permanent home.

Oliver is in good health and current on his vaccinations. He weighs about 40 lb. and is about 22" tall. Oliver is already neutered! Oliver shows some pointing instinct. He has done well inside a fence and has made no escape attempts. The foster home plans on beginning some obedience training with Oliver.

Oliver is described as a sweet, clown of a dog with a bright outlook. The foster home reports that one of his favorite pastimes it to jump up on the backyard picnic table, grab a corner of the umbrella and run around in circles!
