Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Dolly's got a new home!

Dolly is a liver and white female, approximately 1 -years-old. Dolly is currently with the Jackson Purchase Animal Rehab & Rescue (JPARR) in Paducah, KY. She was found at the local wildlife refuge, and held there for a week to see if her owner returned. When no owner came to claim her, Dolly was given to JPARR.

Dolly is about 22" tall and weighs a little thin at about 34 lb. She is current on her vaccinations and in good health, except that she has tested positive for heartworms and needs treatment. She is a young dog and should respond well, but the rescue group has limited resources for treatment. JPARR states that Dolly does well with dogs and other animals, including cats. She has also been good around children. Dolly is described as well-behaved and a great dog. She shows pointing instinct, although her hunting abilities are unknown at this time.

Dolly is a young, good looking dog who needs a forever home to help her through this rough time. If you would like to learn more about Dolly, email Susan at jmartin@apex.net for more information.
