Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Forest Never Gave Up Hope

Forest is a lemon and white male, approximately 2-years-old. He is currently in a foster home in Cedartown, Georgia. Forest is in good health, current on his vaccinations and already neutered. He weighs about 48 lb. and is about 22" tall. He is heartworm negative. According to the foster home, Forest is good with other dogs, but is gunshy.

Here's what the foster home has to say about Forest: "I had stopped to buy gas at a local mini-mart. As I pulled into the station, I saw a very skinny Pointer frantically running around the parking lot looking for food. Unfortunately this is not an unusual sight in Georgia. As I turned around to put the gas nozzle into my car, I was surprised to find the pointer, who we now call Forest, sitting in the driver's seat of my car. It was freezing outside, he was hungry, and you can guess the rest."

Forest was lucky that the foster home took him in, but their space is limited and he needs a home of his own. If you would like to learn more about Forest, email Katy and Ted at alley1@att.net, or call them at 770=748-8448 for more information.
