Chloe Needs a New Leash on Life
Chloe is an orange and white female, about 1-y.o. She is currently in a shelter in Munster, IN. The shelter states that they got the following information from the previous owner: Chloe lived with her owner for 7 ½ months, was obtained from a newspaper, she was allowed inside the house for about 14 hours a day and kept outside for about 10 hours a day. She was left in a dog run when no one was home which was about 10 hours a day. She slept in the owner's room and only lived with an adult male.
The owner told the shelter that Chloe is playful around children and her household was average. She has had home training and knows how to "sit" and is housetrained. She has never bitten, snapped, or growled at anyone. She tends to knock over her water dish. Chloe is afraid of vacuums. She has never escaped from the yard with a steel 5 ft fence. She never had accidents in the house. She hasn't lived with any other animals but gets along with all animals. She is not overprotective.
The shelter describes her as very active, friendly, sweet dog. She loves to play and loves the company of people. She is good with children, dogs, and cats. She would probably greatly benefit from dog obedience classes.
