Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Let me Be your Buddy!

UPDATE: Buddy has come a long way with his new foster home now in Washington state. He is great with their young children, even the youngest at age one! He also gets along with other dogs, walks great on a leash and is now house and crate trained.

My name is Buddy and have I got a story for you! It started when I was in a shelter in Southwest Missouri. I was on my last day and I was saved by a lady in North Dakota. I was taken from the shelter to the vet, and then went to stay with a lady until I could get to my new home. The trip was long, but that didn't damper my spirit, no way! I love to see new things and make new friends. A nice lady that lives here has taken care of me until I could get to my foster home. Not bad for a boy that's only 6 months old, is it? Not many others can say they've been to so many different places and met so many nice people, now can they?

I'm a 6 month old, black and white, big boy with long legs. I love to play with other dogs and if I think you aren't giving me enough attention, I will remind you that I'm here with a big BOOF BOOF. I love to be next to you and give you hugs. I even give big kisses too, especially when you least expect it. I'm really a good boy, and really only want the chance to have a home of my own with room to run and play, and at the end of the long day, a nice cozy place to sleep for the night.

Cyndi, the lady that I stayed with in Missouri, says that I have a heart of gold, and all I want is to please. I hope that there's someone out there that doesn't mind that I'm a big puppy, I'm housebroken and everything! Is there anybody out there that would like to play with me?

Buddy is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. If you would like to welcome Buddy into your new home, Please fill out a PRO Adoption Application
