Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Sam needs a new home

Sam is a lemon and white male pointer about 2 years old. He is UTD on all shots, heartworm negative and on preventative, neutered and microchipped. He gets along well with other dogs, but does not like aggressive males.

Sam has good leash manners and knows how to sit, has a quiet disposition, and loves to lay in the kiddie pool on hot days. He has some interest in birds, but the ladies at the shelter said he is afraid of storms - so he might not make a good hunter.

Sam is a wonderful inside dog. He loves people, just wants to hang out with you. He sits quietly in the house and seems to be housebroken. He doesn't get on the furniture or into the trash. He's so great on the leash that it's obvious he had been worked with as a pup. He really seeks out people and loves to be petted. If you are interested in more information about Sam, click here to fill out a PRO Adoption Application. Once this form is received, an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch with you.
