Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Judah

Judah was rescued from a kill-shelter in August, 2003. He is a purebred pointer, approximately 4 years of age. He was emaciated, and had scabs covering his neck and face. He also had no hair on either ear and parts of his head, from fly bites. He was an owner give-up, reportedly because he was kenneled with a chow that attacked him constantly. Judah was also heartworm +. I took him to the vet, they neutered him and then a week later he was treated for heartworms. Judah is now fabulous! He is housebroken, gets along well with my other dogs and cats, and LOVES to go for car rides. His favorite place is in the front seat, in his harness. Judah loves to play outside, but he is also very affectionate, and loves to cuddle and sit for treats. Judah kennels himself at every opportunity, but I keep him loose in the house with a dog bed that he adores. Judah is energetic, enthusiastic, and has never met a human that he didn't adore! Judes loves to play, and has a favorite buddy (a Vizsla) that he goes on play-dates with. He is available for adoption, and would be a fantastic addition to any household that is looking for a clown that loves to play and cuddle. Please contact Jennifer at jrlazydog@yahoo.com He is being fostered in South Central Indiana, and his foster parents would help with transport to an approved home.
