Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Pointer Boy

Pete was found at a busy intersection, late one night in Kansas. He was rescued from the street extremely underweight and infested with fleas and parasites. Pete’s previous misfortunate didn’t damper his true Pointer spirit though and this sweet guy settled right into home life. After many resources were tapped out in an effort to find his owner or breeder, Pete was brought into PRO to be placed in a new family of his own. He is now in foster care in MD and is thriving.

As you can see he is a handsome, orange and white male, around 18 months old. He has a very gentle and reserve way about him, but little by little he is coming out of his shell and more of his Pointer personality shines through everyday. He does well on a leash, is housebroken and crate trained. He sleeps freely in the house at night and hasn’t had any accidents or chewed on anything he isn’t supposed to have. He’ll be your best friend all day as long as the head scratching and petting continues and he gets along very well with other dogs and children. He is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and will be neutered prior to adoption.

Won’t you end Pete’s journey and let the sunset with him in your home?
