Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

A True Southern Belle

Presenting Miss Georgie! She's a young, pretty girl, between 1 - 2 yrs. old, and was apparently seeking the better life in the No. GA mountains when the Polk Co. Animal Control picked her up. She certainly needed a better life! When Georgie was brought in, she was so thin and didn't feel much like playing or running. Surprisingly, she is HW negative and in very good health, despite her poor appearance. She's been in foster care a few months now, has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, has gained quite a bit of weight - and is ready to make her debut! Georgie may have looked like she was brought up in a barn - but her manners say she's a well-bred lady! She's wonderful in the house, good with cats, doesn't chew, dig, or jump fences, and she is so smart she immediately learned what a doggie door is for and never disgraces herself by soiling in the house! Georgie loves to go for car rides, relax on the sofa, and romp with her other doggie friends - now that she's got some spunk back into her! Georgie is a Southern beauty with country girl charm! If you'd like to show Georgie the good life she deserves, contact Kate Kiley at (770) 355-2783 or kate@gundogrescue.org
