Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

It's Miller time!!

Miller is a sweet, mild mannered boy, approx. 10 mos. old with lots of puppy energy but mature enough to be a gentleman when he needs to. Miller lived on a college campus with his student owner till graduation, then he got dumped on Mom & Dad when son found work out of state. Dad travels overseas a lot and Mom works full-time so poor Miller got left alone a lot. Miller is a handsome boy, housetrained, and well behaved in the house. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves kids and car rides, doesn't chew, and is generally an easygoing guy. He is a fence climber but only climbs the 5ft. fence that separates the backyard from the frontyard so he can follow us to the mailbox or front porch or to watch the kids rollerskate on the driveway. He doesn't even attempt to climb the 4ft. fence to get out on the road. Miller could stand some work on the leash - obedience class would be great! He has an excellent recall though and appears to be highly trainable. He doesn't appear to be gunshy but isn't particularly birdy either. Miller is neutered, HW neg., current on shots, and microchipped.
