Say Hello to Otis!
Otis is a sweet, mellow guy, approx. 4 yrs. old, neutered, HW neg., and current on shots. Otis apparently switched hands a number of times before he was abandoned in Bartow Co., GA where he was picked up by animal control. Because he was microchipped, the owner was tracked down. She cared about Otis enough to say she didn't want him destroyed at the shelter but not enough to come get him and save his life. We pulled Otis from the shelter on his last day to live. He was filthy and covered in ticks but was in good spirits despite the depressing ordeal of being abandoned by his owner. Otis gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves people, and is good with kids. He walks well on a leash and is well behaved in the house. He doesn't jump fences or dig, doesn't chew, and doesn't appear to have any bad habits thus far - we may never know why he was given up! Maybe it's because Otis isn't that interested in birds but he is interested in back rubs, hugs, and naps in the sunshine! Otis rides wonderfully in the car, is crate trained, and appears to be housebroken.
