Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Emily's a Happy Girl

If you could bottle happiness and enthusiasm, the label would have to feature Emily! She couldn't have come into rescue at a better time of year than now; when the days are gray and dreary, Emily's a ray of sunshine! Emily was dumped at the animal shelter in Thomasville, GA by a local hunting plantation - not because of her disposition (positively wonderful!), but most likely because she doesn't have that picture-perfect, straight as an arrow pointer tail (her's is a bit more curly and flexible) and well, you just can't have big money corporate executives hunting over a dog with a less than perfect tail set, can you??

Emily is a youngster, around 1.5 yrs., and very much a pup at heart. She loves nothing better than to romp and play with the kids or other dogs, but instinctively knows (like all pointers!) that the couch is THE place to be. She appears to be housebroken, and is quite an energetic and affectionate little girl that loves hugs and endless games of fetch and tag. She's not a fence jumper or digger, and hasn't yet met a stranger.

Emily is spayed, HW -, current on her shots, and all ready to find her comfy spot on your sofa! Wouldn't you like a little ray of sunshine in your life?? Fill out a PRO Adoption Form and someone will be in touch with you soon!
