Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Sis is Looking for a Family

Sis is a 4-5 year old, lemon and white, female, English Pointer. She was turned into a local shelter by her owners, demanding that she be euthanized. The shelter staff thought she was a big sweetheart and there was no reason to put her to sleep (especially just because her owner no longer wanted to care for her).

Sis LOVES to be outdoors, she would spend all day barking/chasing the birds, if allowed. Inside she is a bit cautious and slow to approach but everyday she gets more comfortable with her surroundings in the foster home. She is good with other dogs but she doesn't really know how to play with them, nor is she a big toy lover. She is good with kids, but a rambunctious fast-paced family is not for her. Sis is crate trained and we believe she is housebroken.

Sis is current on her vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and heartworm negative.

If you are interested in adopting Sis, please complete an adoption application which is listed on our official website at www.OnPointRescue.com

The adoption fee is $200.00. We do allow out of state adoption (we have adopted dogs to CO, CT, FL, IA, IL, KY, KS, MI, MO, MN, NH, NJ, PA, TX, WI) and will provide assistance with ground transportation (we just ask that the adoptive family be willing to drive a portion of the transport).
