Take My Advice - Abby's a Keeper!
Adorable Abby came from a shelter in South Carolina. She is presently in Connecticut with her foster Mom and foster brother and sister. She gets along great with the other dogs and has no interest in the cats who live here. Abby is current on her shots, has been spayed, and is heartworm negative and on preventative. Her favorite enjoyment is to ride in the car. She loves to go for long walks in the woods and will let me know it is time to go again. She has excellent recall and no matter what dog you call she is always first in line. I use electronic collars for all the dogs and Abby was an exceptional dog to train. She has been taken to the local dog park for socialization. She is a little shy at first, but will warm up to the other dogs quickly. Abby much prefers to take a walk on the trail and play with Jack, her foster brother. She does not attempt to jump the fence and I have not seen her digging any holes. It was reported that she may have trouble with thunder storms, but I have not had any here in Connecticut yet to assess that behavior. I have played thunder storms on my computer starting low and increasing the volume without any reaction from Abby, no panting, excessive excitement, or stress. I think that Abby would love to have another dog to play with and someone who would just love her. She is such a sweet dog and very well behaved. I am presently crate training her, but I do leave her alone with the other dogs for several hours at a time and she is just fine. She is housebroken and has not had an accident in the house even during her adjustment period. She is accepting of strangers while we are walking or anyone who comes to the house.
