A Perfect Gentleman
My name is Titus; I am approx. 3 years old and working on getting fixed so that I donít ďbotherĒ other doggies at the park. I am just learning my name because I was dumped at a shelter in Sacramento and no one seems to know what my name was.
I am a very well behaved boy though. I know basic commands. I only get on the furniture when I am invited, but once you invite me I love to snuggle. I am house trained and very calm inside but, I do love my walks. I also love to get baths and I will get in the bathtub when you ask me to. I will also get in the truck and lay down on the floor unless I am invited to hang my head out the window in the breeze.
I have some arthritis in my hips so I should stay inside at night and not be run for more than a few hours a day or I get a little stiff in the morning. I am also kennel trained and prefer to eat my meals in the privacy of my own space. I am a little shy and probably will not eat or drink in front of other dogs.
I am very timid around other male dogs, but I do not show aggression. I would probably be best around female dogs, non-Alpha male dogs, or no dogs at all. I seem to be cat friendly, I act interested but do not pursue. I also seem to be very good with children although I donít like loud noises, I will cower down if I hear someone yelling.
I am a really sweet guy and look foward to finding a low-key home to make my own. I would love to find that special someone to throw the tennis ball for me; in return I will bring it back and gently place it at your feet. Itís true that my foster has not found a single bad habit when it comes to me. She even hopes my gentlemanly manners might wear off a little on her dogs before I am adopted.
If you think Titus is the gentleman your home has been waiting for, please fill out a PRO Adoption Form and someone will be in touch with you soon.
