Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Say Hi to Noah

Hey Noah here just want to say hello and introduce myself. I was left at a shelter in Columbia, SC and let me tell you it may be a nice place for some dogs, but not for this guy. I did not like it there and I was so glad that someone from Pointer Rescue came and took me out of that kennel. I thought they would never come, but my foster Mom showed up one day and now I have a great place to stay. I have a foster sister and brother who welcomed me into their home and let me play with their toys. They also showed me the ropes like where we are supposed to go to the bathroom. Humans call it being housebroken it must be good since it makes my foster Mom smile and praise me. There are a couple of cats in the house too and my foster Mom tells me I would do fine with any cats. I am interested, but they are not as much fun as the dogs. We go to a beautiful dog park every day. I get to play with other dogs so I am considered social yeah I think that is good. I do like the people there too. There is a small pool and when we get hot we can run in and cool off what fun. I do like to chew stuff that is not acceptable and my Mom tells me no and gives me things I can play with and she smiles again. I am very good about not jumping on people, but sometimes I get so excited to see you that I forget. Mom says off and I sure know what that means I am smart and I learn quick especially if I can get a treat. I walk good on lead unless I see a butterfly I like to chase those flying things and birds too. I can point pretty good I wish my foster Mom could get a picture of me in the pose. I look so handsome doing what I was bred to do point. Actually, I think I like this retirement life too I get to do so many fun things. I love to chase a ball and I will bring it back to you to throw again. I don't like to brag about myself, but if I didn't who would. I am a good, smart, caring, loving, happy, trainable dog. Any body out there looking for this type of guy. I am looking for a forever home and someone to love. I probably would be happy hunting again if you wanted me to do that for you as long as you let me rest on a nice bed later.

Noah is not bragging about himself he is a very sweet, loveable dog. He loves routine and picks up all your signals very quickly. He would do just fine with another dog or cat. He is housebroken, heartworm negative, on preventative, neutered, and up to date on all his shots. He has been micro-chipped by Home Again. He is crate trained, but because of his good behavior he is allowed to be loose at night and he is only crated when I am going to be gone for awhile and he would be alone. He is beginning to gain weight and his coat has become soft and smooth. Everyone who meets him comments on his markings he has what looks like a snowman on his back. A dog with a real pointer personality.

If you would like more information about Noah, please fill out a PRO Adoption Form and someone will contact you soon.
