Handsome Englishman Seeks His Castle

Bentley has had a rough couple of months. He was in a shelter for 3 months, and lost quite a bit of weight.

Bentley is a very happy 3 year old liver/white boy. He has a great personality and loves everyone. He’s a bit shy at first, but makes up with people in minutes. He loves to play, run and chew. Bentley makes for a good “Early detection system”, he’s very alert and by the second day he and his big boy bark were protecting our yard. He has no aggression toward anyone he has come into contact with, he just wants to play. He is quite adventurous, and even enjoyed our most recent 3 feet of snow. Bentley is a chewer, and he loves fabric – this may subside some after being home for awhile (pent up shelter) – and when he could get outside and exert his energy. With plenty of toys, he isn’t messing with too many other things. He does like to take off with towels.

He was recently neutered, heartworm tested negative and UTD on his shots. He is putting on weight and ready for a forever family. He is housebroken and goes to the door. He is crate trained, and while he doesn’t like to go in, he is quite while in there.

Bentley may be a hunter. He is very birdy and holds a nice point. He’s a bit shy of gunshots on TV, but also curious. If it ever stops snowing here in VA, I am going to take him out and evaluate his hunting abilities, and he’s a good fetcher.

For more information about Bentley, please fill out a PRO Adoption Form and someone will contact you soon.
