Pete is a Pistol!
Take Me Home! Make Me Yours! Energetic young boy needs love, boundaries, gentle discipline, and a place to run. Pete has made terrific progress! All he'd known was life outside in a dog run. His owners separated and returned to Mexico. Foster care exposed him to a whole new world. He'd never climbed a flight of stairs, but now bounds confidently up and down them. He has discovered toys are, well - FUN! Pete settles nicely in his crate and plays well with others. Other dogs that is, not sure how he'd do with cats. If he could talk he'd say:
"I'm two yrs old with a whole lot of pup still inside me."
"I've been hungry and cold for a long time - can I please get some TLC?"
"I'm liver and white, neutered (Hey!! Who snipped me? And why??). Heartworm negative, and UTD on shots (my foster Mom made me say that)."
"I'm learning to sit, know how to "kennel up" and wait quietly in my crate."
"I know what "leave it" means and most of the time (hey, I'm a pup) I "leave it" when Mom says to.
"I'm a lover boy ready to warm your heart and share your sofa"
"I am a bit inquisitive - as in - whatchadoin, whatchadoin, whatchadoin, canIseethat, isitforme, whatchadoin!"
"I am settling down (amazing, huh?). I've discovered sleeping in the sun. Oh ya, it's the bomb.
And last but not least - "Liver Treats!!! OMG - Liver Treats!!!!"
