Just a Good Ol' Bo!
"Hey, ya'll! This here's Bo. Sure glad to meet ya! I'm just a good ol' lovable Southern boy looking for love and a place to kick up my paws and call home. Once you read what my foster family says about me, I know you'll love my Southern charm, too! Listen up, now! Ya'll don't want to miss out!"
"Galoot," ""Big Baby," "Gentle Giant" are some names that describe Bo. He is a big handsome 6-year-old black and white male. Bo was brought into a veterinarian's office with two other Pointers Lucy and Joy. The owner wanted to put them down because he no longer wanted them. A staff member took the dogs and contacted PRO for help. Bo and Joy have been placed together in a PRO foster home.
Bo is a friendly fellow and greets everyone with happy smile and wagging tail. The owner said he is a good hunting dog, but the foster family has not field tested him yet. He is crate trained and has done well in the house and enjoys using the doggy door. He seems to enjoy the outdoors even in the hot humid Southern summer, but he is finding the comfort and security of the indoor life. He has found a liking to items such as towels, socks and other items left around. He is being corrected on that. He has done well with most of the family's other Pointers but care is needed when introducing him to other male dogs. Since he has just arrived, the family has only started working with her on basic commands. He has learned to walk on a leash and seems to enjoy the walks although squirrels and birds can be a bit distracting. Bo appears to be a smart guy and is capable of learning more to reach his potential.
Bo is up to date on his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. Bo would love you to adopt him. Just fill out a PRO Adoption Form and someone will contact you soon.
