Lady Bird Needs Your Help
Lady Bird showed up at a person's house as a stray.
Lady Bird is being kenneled in a large outside kennel during the day and then taken for walks on a leash so she is always confined. She's loose in my dog room a lot when she's inside and crated at night. She's safe for now but she needs a foster home that is familiar with breed.
She has been wonderful with my other dogs - existing dogs and fosters. But, she has pointed one cat thus far and lunged at him for all I know she thought it was a rabbit because Little Man cat does look like a rabbit. She has not shown interest in any of the other cats - inside or out - but it was a pretty hard lunge at him and sort of spooked me about her ability to interact safely unsupervised with cats. I have 9 cats so that has been something that I have to consider when she is not crated.
If you can open your heart and home to fostering this sweet girl, please fill out a PRO Volunteer Form and indicate your interest in fostering Lady Bird.
