Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Sweet Little Lady

Lilly has made great improvement since arriving at her Ohio foster home thanks to Pilots N Paws. She had been in a shelter and was quite shy and fearful for the first day in her foster home. After just a few weeks, she is just the perfect little lady. Lilly is still a bit fearful of loud or sudden noises and may always be due to some unknown past experiences.

She kennels easily for the day or can be totally trusted to sleep where ever she wishes at night, her preference being the couch. She is best buddies with her foster dad, cuddling with him at any opportunity. Lilly does well playing with the other dogs in her foster home and especially loves playing ball.

She is an independent girl and does not require a lot of exercise. A forever home would not necessarily require a fenced yard for her, but she should not be exercised outside without a lead unless taken to a fenced dog park. She has not been tested on children but she has a calm manner and would probably do well with grade school or older children that would respect her space and play gently with her. Her markings make her a stunning looking girl but she does have a slight under bite often seen in Pointers, it does not detract from her beauty or sweet personality.
