Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Knox has a new home

Knox is a black and white female, between 1- and 2-years-old. She is currently living in a PRO foster home in MA. Knox was in a shelter in Knoxville, TN and found her way to PRO. She is current on her shots, heartworm negative and in good health. Knox is already spayed and ready for her new home!

According to her foster home, Knox shows some pointing instinct. She already knows sit, come and "no." She has learned not to jump on people. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash.

Knox is very loving and playful. She still has a lot of pup in her and loves her toys. If left alone she can be a destructive chewer and needs to be watched, just like any young dog. She jumps fences, but so far has returned immediately afterwards. The foster home says that Knox loves children and is getting along well with other dogs.

If you are interested in giving Knox a loving home, fill out a PRO Adoption Form on this website. You will then be contacted by the PRO Adoption Coordinator.
