Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

TC Needs Your Help!

TC arrived to his foster home from a dog shelter in Kentucky with his kennel mate Todd with whom he is very attached. His foster mom and dad don't think either of these boys were treated well by humans in their former lives. TC is a wonderfully marked liver and cream Pointer with a cute circle around the rear of his tail. He is very loving and bonds easily with his humans, is quite out going once he is given time to trust new people and is a bit of a talker! He will need a special individual or family that can spend a lot of time on building his confidence and be patient and willing to continue training on house breaking and leash work.

TC has done very well inside his foster home though considering he probably never lived as an inside dog. He will play a bit with the other family dogs, then just wants to lay down on the dog futon. His new family will need to make sure he is taken out often either to play in a fenced yard or an area he can play and run with supervision. He does well with his foster family's dogs but like a typical Pointer he does play hard and would not be recommended for a household that has a small breed dog. TC has been neutered, is HW negative, current on shots, HW preventative and Frontline flea and tick protection.

Update!  TC has become a lively outgoing Pointer but enjoys being a house dog with his foster family and especially loves his rawhide toys. He is a great companion for both humans and his family dog friends. TC would enjoy a family that can allow him to run and has time to play with him daily in a fenced yard or dog park.
