Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Let Me Leap Into Your Heart

Handsome Leap was rescued from a Georgia shelter where he had been surrendered by his owner. According to the records provided, he was born 7/23/10 so he is still very young. He is a loving, friendly young dog who enjoys human company and playing with the female Pointers in his foster home but is not being recommended for a home with other male dogs. He has not been around small children or cats since arriving at his Ohio foster home. Leap obeys very well by crating when asked and is rewarded with a treat, his favorite being rawhide chews. Despite his name, he has never attempted to jump or climb the 7 1/2 ft. fence surrounding the rear yard at his foster home and has not shown any fear issues so he could be a candidate for agility and/or field training by a experienced owner/trainer.

Leap has been neutered and is current on vaccinations, flea/tick treatment.
