Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Tara Needs Your Help!

Tara is currently at the county dog pound which is a kill facility. The humane society takes care of the dogs that come in to the facility. The quicker we can get her out of the shelter that opens another kennel up since when the shelter fills they do euthanize to make room. All dogs get combo vaccine, nasal bordetella, wormed and frontline on intake to the shelter and we do not charge a pull fee for those.

Tara is housetrained. She was moved from living indoors to the garage when she got too energetic for the house. They have 2 small house dogs she was fine with and she has been fine with other dogs at the shelter. She is good with kids, they had a 3 yr. old and a 10 yr. old. She knows the sit command although doesn't stay in a sit for very long. Don't know about cats but she is not good with chickens.

Tara is in urgent need of a foster or forever home. If you are interested in fostering her for PRO, please fill out a PRO Volunteer Form and indicate your interest in fostering Tara.
