Sterling is a charming, grateful, delightful young girl. She came to us severely emaciated, bones with hide pulled over it. She is now a bouncy, vibrant, filled out beautiful girl! She is very willing to please and listens to understand what you would like. She is learning to sit and walk like a lady on leash. She does get along with our retired show dogs, seems fine with the cats and congenial with children. We don't have an opportunity to test a dog with toddlers.
She is food aggressive and toy possessive. She has her own crate to eat in and hoard her possessions. We feel she obviously never had enough food or anything of her own, giving her a space of her own has helped her feel important.
UTD on shots but now waiting to spay. She should be spayed by March 8th and ready for a forever home shortly after that. She will make a awesome companion and buddy to hang around with. She seems to always be smiling.
