Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Chuckie Needs Your Help

Chuckie was found as a stray in a wildlife management area. He's been kept at a vet's office who is needing to move him into a foster home or a forever home soon. He seems fine with my dogs but not likely a fan of cats. Unsure about fences because we are right on the highway and I'm hesitant to let him loose in our yard. Likely housebroken but again hard to tell in the kennel because he is in there for prolonged periods sometimes. He had a trial period this past week with a family but unfortunately Chuckie did not get along with the potential adopters male pointer/beagle who is neutered. He did try to bite him as soon as they introduced them at their house. However, he goes outside with my 2 shorthairs and austr. cattle dog - all females every day, 3 times a day and there have never been any issues.
