Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Pepper Needs a New Home

Dog came into our shelter as a stray. Owner eventually identified, but did not want him back, stating they didn't have the time for him. He is good with other dogs, shows pointing instinct, jumps up on people and gets up on counters. In other words, he's a young pointer boy!

Pepper would make a great family dog, but right now has too much energy and jumps on everyone and everything.

URGENT!!  Pepper is nearly out of time and needs to get out of the shelter ASAP! If you can open your heart and home to fostering him, please fill out a PRO Volunteer Form and indicate your interest in fostering Pepper.

Update 9/3/12:  Pepper is now is a foster home in MD. He's a very sweet boy who was obviously someone's house pet. He's very affectionate, housebroken and crate trained. As a young pointer boy, he needs his exercise, but is not a wild child. Stay tuned for more updates!
