Elka is Ready for You
Hi!
My name is Elka. You may be wondering why I don’t look quite like all of the other dogs up for Adoption with PRO. I was in a shelter in Kentucky and really needed a place to go in a hurry. Everyone thought I was a Pointer, but when my foster Dad met me on my transport he realized I wasn’t quite all Pointer. That’s ok because they are still going to help me find a new home. Yeah!!
I love to play! I’m looking for a family that will play fetch, tug and other games with me. I also really like to snuggle, cuddle and give kisses. I really enjoy playing with other dogs and even cats. Kids are fun too! I am still a puppy and am learning, but I know lots of stuff already (I do "sit" perfectly!) and my foster family is going to help teach me more. Won’t you please consider adding me to your family?
Elka is a Black & White Pointer mix around 18 months old. She is up to date on all shots, spayed, dewormed, on flea & heartworm prevention and microchipped. She knows “Sit”, has basic manners, and it seems like she learns quickly. She does have energy and likes to play since she is still quite young, but will settle in the house and will keep herself occupied with a toy. She is on the big side for a Pointer at around 24” tall and 61#. She seems to be mostly housebroken and is doing well on crate training.
