Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Cabella Needs a New Home

Cabella is a pretty black and white pointer girl who is around 4 years old. She is crate trained and making good progress with house training. She is vaccinated and heart worm negative. Cabella was rescued from a North Carolina animal shelter with 24 hours left to live. A kindhearted shelter worker saw her sweet personality and reached out to Pointer Rescue to save her life. Cabella must have had a very difficult life in her previous home, she is extremely shy and her foster home is working to help her overcome her fears. She is making wonderful gains and every day she shows improvement. She has a very sweet personality and has begun to wag her tail happily and kiss her foster mom's hand when she feels comfortable.

Her new forever family must be prepared to shower her with love and security while providing consistency and patience to enable her to become the happy, vibrant dog that she shows glimpses of. Cabella loves other dogs and seems to feel more secure in their presence. A home with other dogs would be very beneficial for her. She has not been exposed to children or cats in her foster home.

Cabella will continue to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. If you are interested in helping Cabella to become all that she can be, contact Pointer Rescue.Org and fill out an adoption application.
