Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Flora Needs a New Home

Have you seen anyone cuter? Flora is a small pointer, around 40-45 pounds. She is originally a Kansas gal, she is currently residing in sunny Miami,FL in a foster home with lots of foster brothers & sisters, including CATS! Flora is a silly wiggle worm, and just learning what it is to be in a home and out of the shelter environment where she had been for 5 months prior to coming to rescue. Flora is crate-trained and is getting used to leash walking. Next on the list will be "sit".

She has the goofiest personality around - she wiggles, hops, scoots backwards and jumps in the air out of sheer delight. She is a joy to be around and will make someone a great companion. She loves to run in the yard with the dogs in the home, playing with the chihuahua, cockapoo, pointers, etc. She has no favorites but will give each one attention. She likes to sniff the kitties but usually just walks right by them in favor of a dog to play with.

Her pictures are: by the pool at her foster home, Flora giving smooches after a much needed bath on Day 1 and a picture of her on a human bed (1st time ever on a bed!)

Anyone interested in adopting Flora MUST want a playful, sweet, goofy girl. Her foster mom calls her Flora Monkey Face because of the all the goofy facial expressions she has when she jumps and wiggles.
