Mya Needs a New Start

I am a pretty girl about seven years in age. Originally from Tennessee, now living in an Ohio foster home with several resident Pointers. I seem to do best socializing with non dominant male dogs or would love a home all to my self. My foster mom doesn't know anything about my prior life but I am shy meeting new people and even more so with men.

What I really love are squeaky toys! I run and run playing in the yard with them, but they have to be tough because I chew them too. I do very well in my crate each night and since I don't like thunderstorms, my foster mom makes sure I am secure there and gives me a couple of treats called Composure to help me. I just shake and pant, so the Veri-Crate is my safe place.

I do not live with cats or children. I have a high prey drive so likely cats wouldn't like me.

Because I am still quite active, a high fenced yard is best. I don't counter surf but keeping me supervised and occupied when not crated will help me adjust to a new home and routine.

Mya has been spayed, and is current on vaccinations and Heartworm and flea preventatives.
