Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Faith is a Brand New Girl!

Faith (3 years old, Fostered in Maine)

Faith was found as a stray in Georgia with two fractured legs. She had endured terrible pain and ended up in a shelter and was to be put down. An amazing person in Georgia paid for Faith's injuries to be treated and gave her a place to stay to recuperate. Not long after, it was discovered that Faith was pregnant. She flew to her foster home in Maine just in time and about 10 days later she gave birth to 9 beautiful puppies. She was a very good mom and the puppies have all been adopted out to wonderful homes. Now its Faith's turn to find her forever family. She has certainly earned it. This petite girl has endured so much and taken it all in stride.

Faith leg injuries have healed nicely, she has been spayed and has gained weight. She looks great, she's a whole new girl!! She is fully vaccinated, wormed and micro chipped. She is heartworm negative and is on monthly preventative. She has had some skin sensitivity and this has responded well to a change to a grain free diet.

Faith is young, perhaps around 2 years old, she has been through a lot in her short life. She is extremely playful and happy. She LOVES toys and has become an active girl, she would enjoy lots of outdoor activities with her new family. She loves to socialize with other dogs. She is not cat or child tested. She is shy around certain men and we are working on this, she was very protective of her pups and this is improving since they have left. She loves to go for walks and would learn very quickly at obedience class.

Faith is one of the sweetest, joyful and loving dogs that you will ever meet. She is so very deserving of her own forever home and family. If you are interested in this beautiful girl then click on the link below:
