Banjo Needs Your Help
Banjo (1 year old, fostered in Kentucky)
My name in Banjo, and Iím a very active, 13 month old boy! I came from a shelter in Georgia, but I've quickly adjusted to my new foster home. My foster family has potty trained me, crate trained me, and has trained me on invisible fencing.
Iím a friendly, outgoing boy! I love playing and wrestling with other dogs, but sometimes I forget that people donít like to play rough! I love all people, but I might be better in a house with older children. The trainer at the shelter says I have "compulsive spinning syndrome," which is just a fancy way of saying, I spin in circles when I get excited (like at meal time or whenís itís time to go outside). I have kink at the end of my tail. It doesnít seem bother me though. My foster mom says it gives me character!
I behave best in house when I get plenty of exercise outdoors! I will need more help with leash training, so I really need a home with physical or invisible fencing. Iím still very much a puppy, and I will need someone to teach me basic obedience.
I weigh around 40 pounds, but I need to gain 5-10 more pounds. Iím neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Iím heart worm negative, and on preventative.
