Cece Needs a New Home

Cece - 5 years old, fostered in New York
Dog ID# 150273-P-B-SC

Hi! I’m Cece, but my foster family likes to call me Cece-lala. I really like to play and think both kids and dogs are just awesome to have around (they like to play too!). I like walks and this thing my foster Mama calls “training” - it’s super fun to figure out what she’s asking. She gives me lots of cookies and kisses and says I am super smart. My foster home is pretty cool, there’s dogs and kids here to play with, good food and always something going on, but my foster Mama says that somewhere there’s a family out there that is all MINE! I’d really like to meet them, they sound wonderful when she describes what they might be like with kids, room to run, fun things to do every day, ear scratches, snuggles, toys and lots of love JUST FOR ME!

Cece’s foster family here! We’d like to tell you a little about her. She’s ADORABLE as you can see, and so very friendly and loving. We think she’s at least 4-5 years old. She gets along well with our two resident female pointers and engages in active playtimes with them. Cece is a fan of toys and bones and stuffed Kongs. She loves treats of all kinds and is working on taking them gently in training. Speaking of training, she’s housebroken, crate trained, doesn’t jump on people, has a beautiful sit and we’re working on some other things as well - she’s very smart and is loving “clicker training” - it’s great for her active mind to try to figure out what we’re asking her for. She’s wonderful with our children, often seeking them out for play and attention. She loves ear rubs and snuggles. She’s great in the car and loves to go places. Through no fault of her own she has been in foster care for a very, very long time and can’t wait to find people to call her own - it’ll be a lucky family who gets to share their lives with this girl! Cece would love an active family who can provide exercise for her both physically and mentally - and she’s really hoping for kids of her own to play with (over age 5, please).
