Hi! I spent my first 12 years hunting and have just started my "retirement" in my foster home. I have adjusted from kennel living to home living very well. I LOVE relaxing on a blanket, rug or dog bed. I also really like all of the toys here, especially chewing on nylabones and fetching squeaky tennis balls. I often will gather up a big hoard of toys in my crate or on the rug. There is a big yard for me to explore and lots of dogs to run around with. There is a cat and she is OK too. I LOVE all people I meet. I like to just stand next to people and get my ears petted. When I arrived I was having issues with my eyes, my teeth were pretty dirty and I was having issues walking due to arthritis. I went to the Doggy Doctor and they gave me drops that fixed my eye issue, they cleaned my teeth and they put me on medicine that I take that helped my arthritis, now I can run like a pup again!
I'm now fully housebroken and crate trained. I like to carry around my food bowl, foster Mom says it is really cute!
I enjoy going for walks and wouldn't mind going for a short hunt to find some birds as long as we could come back home and snuggle afterwards.
Please consider adding me to your family!
Whip is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and dewormed. He takes a glucosomine supplement daily and one other prescription pill daily as he has arthritis from years of working hard in the field. As long as he gets his pills he gets around just fine and in fact he is pretty active!
TRANSPORT AVAILABLE TO APPROVED HOMES! (generally within 1,500 miles)
