Nigel Needs a New Home

Hey there! Looking for a young, fun and energetic addition to your family?

I'm one LARGE good looking fellow that enjoys the company of you humans as well as other dogs, no matter their size. I will tell you I'm hungry for outings and would love to have a home with a fenced yard; maybe make that a tall fence. I haven't tried leaping over the dog park fence, where I go multiple times a day but since I'm so tall and leggy I might be enticed if I were to see a fast running squirrel or a bird in flight.

I really love the woods, hiking and sniffing all the new sights and sounds. Anything outdoors is the greatest, but I'm just as happy indoors. I have never counter surfed, only reside on one piece of furniture or in my large crate, which when my foster mom leaves for work that's where I reside without any complaints.

My recall is pretty darn good, better than most! I've overcome fears of stairs, loading into my car, ( I LOVE car rides ) and have became a stellar fella on my leash walking through small town America.

Lots to take in as you see I was found on a dusty road, very skinny and emaciated. A nice couple came along and gave me a ride to a wonderful shelter in South Carolina that took me in and hooked me up with Pointer Rescue Folks. Wow, now I'm living in central Kentucky as a foster with three other Pointers that are friendly and don't mind sharing their home, toys, food and the good life with me.

Remember I am a young boy and although I love children, it's best (due to my size) that I am adopted into a home with older children rather than tykes.

I'm up to date on all my shots, tested negative for Heart Worms, and currently on HW prevention chewy tablets.

I'm around cats where I currently reside - I either walk on by or my curiosity overwhelms me so I like to get a little too close for their comfort. I truly thought one was a toy, or possibly a skunk so just gently wrapped my mouth around her, I'm just letting you know that possibly a cat free home would be best for me.

I just love playing with other dogs. I'm so darn big and lovable I get carried away sometimes , no one has scolded me but I did accidentally roll over a small dog that wanted to take me on. Just boundless fun energy, then I fall asleep and rest until I'm invited on another outing or to be amidst your family hanging out in your home.

I'm housebroken, eat very well, and I'm MOST affectionate.

Consider selecting me as your Forever Dog, you will have a devoted youngster to have for years to come.
