Hi, my name is Andy. I am a 2 year old southern gentleman. My roots run deep in the heart of Texas, but I've moved a little more up north to experience the finer things of southern comfort in Arkansas. I enjoy snoozing in my kennel during the day while snacking on pupsicles and watching my programs and in the evening I enjoy a nice stroll about the neighborhood followed by a relaxing snuggle session on the couch (or in my foster mom's bed) - my foster mom likes to call this "netflix and chill time". I have a foster fur sis that I wrestle with on occasion but I am more of a "relax and chill" kind of guy whereas my fur sis is "go-go-go" all the time. I like to go into our treasure chest of toys and pick out all the toys that don't squeak, I am not real sure about squeaky toys, so I just pat the floor and bark at them. I love a good rope toy or a marrow bone.

I am learning to go into my kennel when given the command "kennel" - I know that's where I get a pupsicle, and I LOVE those! I love being on the couch and my foster mom's bed, so when it is time to go outside or in my kennel, sometimes I need a little bit of encouragement. I am learning to sit nice when I am told to "sit" and sometimes I give my foster mom a little paw up to let her know I am ready to be released from sit. I can be a little extra at times (hence the paw up).

I do well around all humans, big and small. I am particularly fond of men...maybe it's because the ones I've met have big recliners (and laps) and cuddle me real good. The little humans I've been around have played real nice with me, I even let them give me a "check up" - peeking in my mouth, checking under my arms, looking into my eyes.

I am not a fan of loud noises (clapping in particular) or when my foster mom uses her mom voice. I also am not a fan of thunderstorms, cold weather or the rain - all of these things make me shiver and if you try to make me go potty outside...well you can forget about it (I’ll hold my potty as long as I have to in order to avoid the cold or the rain). I will however get next to you wherever you are so I can get cuddles because that makes me feel better.

I have gone on a few car rides and I like those, they put me right to sleep. I have a little trouble loading up only because I am not super sure where we are going and if I'll be coming back, but once I'm in the car I am golden.

I am looking for a furever home where I can cuddle my humans, join them on an evening stroll, be rewarded with pupsicles and have a big soft bed to snooze in.
