Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Jill Found a Home

Jill was turned over Caroline County Animal Control approximately 10 weeks ago. Her owner gave her up because she would only hunt when she wanted to. She has had a thorough veterinary check showing negative heartworm test and negative fecal. Owner stated she was two years old and the vet confirmed. She interacts well with other dogs ranging in size from larger to smaller with no squabbles. She is timid at first but then warms up quickly. She walks well on a leash and behaves nicely in the house. She goes from room to room cheking out the space and then settled in and wants to snuggle. She is housebroken. She loves food and treats which she immediately hides and then goes back to retrieve. She does like going in the dog house in the kennel. She does not bark excessively or whine. If you are interested in Jill, please fill out an adoption application and put her down. Our adoption coordinator will be in touch with you in a day or two.
