Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Phoebe - Found "Someone" to be her "Somebody"

Phoebe is a 2 year old, lemon & white female. She is currently not spayed but, as with all dogs adopted through PointerRescue.Org, she will be spayed prior to going to her new home. She is current an all her vaccinations (including Lymes & bordatello), is heartworm negative, and is on heartworm preventative.

Phoebe's foster mom, Melissa, describes her as a dog that likes to be the center of attention. She loves everyone she meets, including children, and likes to show her affection by giving lots of "doggie kisses." She also likes cats. Melissa says Phoebe is a smart dog who has already learned to sit and walk on the lead. Melissa believes that most of Phoebe's "unladylike" ways are due to her desire for attention; therefore, she over-reacts. These habits can probably be corrected with training and love.

Phoebe is working on learning "house manners" and is on her way to being housebroken.

Phoebe has shown a lot of interest in birds as evidenced by her attentiveness whenever her foster mom cleans out the bird cage.

Melissa feels Phoebe would do well with a yard to exercise in and someone who would be willing to keep her busy with training or play.

Melissa indicates that the lucky person to adopt Phoebe will also get her "accessories" - collar, leash, and toys.
