Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Pluto - Adopted

Pluto is a liver and white male, 3 years old, neutered, all shots, heatworm negative, microchipped who lives in no-kill foster situation. Pluto needs to go to a home where he can get lots of love and attention. He would do well with one-on-one attention, although he likes other dogs and currently lives with several. He likes to fetch and play with his Kong toy and would do well in obedience, although harsh reprimands frighten him. He is an active and sensitive dog who craves a more structured environment then his foster situation provides.

He has been known to dig in the yard if left outside for long stretches of time. He is crate trained and housebroken (although his foster home has dog doors, which make it easy for him.) He is a very quiet dog in the house and takes his position on the couch seriously. He is a healthy dog at 50 pounds, which is a perfect weight for his bone structure. He eats about five cups of premium dog food a day, but he would probably eat less in a less-stimulating environment.
