Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Hunter found a home

Hunter is a nice 9 month old liver and white male, heavly ticked, being fostered by a German Shorthaired Pointer person. Hunter is neutered, up on all shots, crate trained, and loves people. He needs to be with another dog, or he will jump the fence. He is fine if with another dog, though. Hunter is a bit soft, and appears to have been abused, as he will hit the ground if voices are raised at him, but he is great with kids and other dogs. The foster home was told Hunter dug, but has not had any problems.

He is definelty a field pointer according to a field breeder who looked at him. Also is trained to the whistle, is steady to flush, not gun shy. He has not been tested on was retreiving, though he will play ball and bring it back. Is super birdy.
