Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Gunner found a new home

Gunner is a Liver and White male that is approx. 2 years old. He weighs 70 pounds, has had all his shots, and will be neutered prior to adoption.

Gunner was seized during a raid from an animal "collector"/puppy mill, where he lived in horrendous conditions. He was found hanging off his dog house on a short chain, with bodies of dead dogs scattered around him.

Despite his previous living conditions, Gunner has been very sweet and gentle with his current caretakers. He is eager to please, quick to learn, and enjoys romping in the shelter's fenced play yard. He likes to demonstrate his pointing abilities with the bunnies and birds also being housed at the shelter.

Gunner would like to find a home where he can run and play. He is full of love, and just needs someone to share that with. It is suggested he be placed in a single-dog household with no children under the age of 15, due to a lack of knowledge of his exposure with children and other animals.

For more information, or to adopt Gunner, contact The Stevens-Swan Human Society in Utica, NY at 315-738-4357. Please ask for Becky or Loraine and tell them PointerRescue.Org sent you.
