Pointer Rescue -- helping to make a difference

Billy has lots of energy

Billy is a 2.5-3 year old liver and white male pointer that is at the Champaign County Humane Society in Urbana, IL. He is up to date with his shots, heartworm negative, and is neutered. Billy was adopted once, but returned because he has a lot of energy and needs more exercise than the people could give him. Billy would make a perfect jogging buddy for someone. Billy is good with kids, good with other dogs, jumps up on people and gets on the furniture. He could use a good obedience course (all dogs could, it helps them bond with their owners and learn what to do to please you). He is sweet and very smart, but needs to be focused. He has a VERY strong hunting instinct. The shelter charges $60 to adopt a dog, and you can contact them at cchs@cuhumane.org, or at (217) 344-PAWS.
